God wants you to know that...
1. You are a sinner and cannot save yourself.
Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Titus 3:5, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.”
2. Jesus Christ has already provided the way of salvation
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
1 Peter 3:18, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”
3. You must repent of your sins, confess them and forsake them.
1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Proverbs 28:13, “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”
4. Acceptance or refusal determines your destiny.
John 3:36, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.”
Hebrews 2:3, “How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?”
So what must you do?
You must realize you are a sinner that needs a Savior. Confess your sins and turn in faith to Jesus Christ.
How? Pray this prayer:
“Dear God, I know that Jesus is your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
If you sincerely prayed this prayer, you have just made the most important decision of your life. You can be sure you are saved and have eternal life.
1 John 5:13, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
Romans 10:13, “For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”
